Not your average Picnic rug. This is a bespoke item and was developed for buyers who absolutely must have their own tartan. Where those tartans are no longer available as travel rugs, we substitute a premium quality Pure New worsted Wool tartan. The end-product is an unbrushed Wool picnic blanket with a PU coated water-resistant Polyester on its underside.
This is clearly a premium product, individually made to order in Scotland. Not to be confused with the common cheapo, the acrylic tartan picnic blanket with shiny undersheet. [Not that those are available in anyone's own tartan]
In cases where your selected tartan is only available in narrower kilting width, a matching seam will run down the middle of the tartan side to acheive the rug width.
